Someone in Loveland types the job plus the city — plumber, dentist, HVAC, a shop downtown or near Centerra. Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is a miss.
This page is for local businesses in Loveland, Larimer County, who want those searches. Casey's SEO is not your trade. We do not run the trucks, the chairs, or the storefront. We make sure Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and AI tools can name you when someone nearby is ready to call.

How people find a business in Loveland
Most of those searches end in the Google map pack — the three businesses on Google Maps at the top of local results. The Google Business Profile is the listing that feeds that pack. The website pages tell Google which jobs you actually run and which parts of Loveland you cover. YouTube videos about those same jobs and cities show up in Google and give AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT something true to quote.
If the profile says one city and the site says "we serve the Front Range," you are asking Google to guess. It will guess a competitor who named Loveland.
Loveland is not Fort Collins. It is not Longmont. It is not Greeley. People type the city they are standing in. A Fort Collins-only profile does not win the Loveland pack.
Google Business Profile
Pick the category that matches the work you actually sell. Categories you do not live up to get you the wrong jobs — or reviews that say you never showed.
Services should be the jobs you sell in this market. Not a copied list from a national franchise. Photos: real jobs, real storefront, real Loveland — maybe Downtown Loveland, near US-34, or Centerra where people actually find you. Stock photos look like every other listing. Posts and Q&A keep the profile looking open. Service areas should match where you actually work — not half of Larimer County you cannot reach by noon.
Name, address, and phone have to match the website and the rest of the web.
We cover map-pack work in more detail on Google Maps optimization. The Loveland version is the same idea with your category and your photos.
Website pages that match the search
Google still wants a page that says the city and the job. One statewide "we serve Colorado" paragraph does not win plumber Loveland or dentist near me from someone on US-34 or I-25.
On your site — not this one — you need pages for Loveland and the searches people type when they need you today. If you do not run Loveland, do not list it. Google and AI both punish the business that claims half of Larimer County and shows up from Fort Collins instead.
That is the same local SEO work we describe for Colorado Springs, written for a Loveland business instead.
Names Google already knows
Use the names people type. Not a dump of every subdivision on the Larimer County map.
- Loveland
- Fort Collins and Longmont when you actually serve those packs
- Centerra, Downtown Loveland, when those are real service areas
- I-25 and US-34 landmarks if the trucks go there
If you do not run a town, leave it off.
Videos: YouTube, Shorts, and AI Overviews
You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos from your services and the cities you serve. They go on YouTube because those videos tend to show up in Google quickly. AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT pull from YouTube more often than they pull from your website alone.
One video is a start. A series — jobs you sell, cities you serve, before-and-afters, how it works — builds a YouTube channel that looks real to Google. That is the Get Found work. No on-camera. We write, we produce, you show up in searches.
Timeline
Local SEO is not instant. The Google Business Profile can be set up right. Website pages take two to three weeks to show up in Google. Videos go faster — YouTube can index them in days — but the real lift in the map pack and organic search takes 30 to 60 days to start showing and 60 to 90 days to stabilize. Some clients see movement in two weeks. Some take three months. We build for the long term.

What is the Google map pack?
The map pack is the three businesses that show up on Google Maps when someone types your job and city — plumber Loveland, dentist Loveland, HVAC Loveland. Those three spots get most of the calls. If you are not in the pack, you are on page two or three, or you do not show up at all.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?
Yes. The profile is what feeds the map pack. Without it, Google does not know where you are, what you do, or which cities you serve. It is free to claim and set up. We help you get it right.
Why do I need website pages for Loveland if I already have a website?
Because Google matches the search to the page. If someone in Loveland types plumber Loveland, Google looks for a page that says Loveland and plumber. A page that says "we serve Colorado" does not match. A page that is about Fort Collins does not match. You need a real page that names the city and the job.
How fast will I show up in the map pack?
The profile can be fixed in days. Website pages show up in Google in two to three weeks. Real movement in the map pack — ranking high enough to get calls — takes 30 to 60 days to start and often 60 to 90 days to stabilize. It depends on your competition, your profile, and your website.
Do you do videos on camera with me?
No. You do not film. Casey writes and produces the videos. We film your work, your trucks, your storefront, your phone number, and the Loveland landmarks that matter. Videos go on YouTube. You stay out of the camera. That is the deal.
