Someone in Louisville types the job plus the city — plumber, dentist, HVAC, a shop on McCaslin Boulevard. Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is a miss.

This page is for local businesses in Louisville, Boulder County, and the towns nearby who want those searches. Casey's SEO is not your trade. We do not run the trucks, the chairs, or the storefront. We make sure Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and AI tools can name you when someone nearby is ready to call.

How people find a business in Louisville

Most of those searches end in the Google map pack — the three businesses on Google Maps at the top of local results. The Google Business Profile is the listing that feeds that pack. The website pages tell Google which jobs you actually run and which parts of town you cover. YouTube videos about those same jobs and cities show up in Google and give AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT something true to quote.

If the profile says one city and the site says "we serve Boulder County," you are asking Google to guess. It will guess a competitor who named Louisville.

Louisville is not Boulder. It is not Superior. It is not Lafayette. People type the city they are standing in. A Boulder-only profile does not win that pack in Historic Old Town.

Google Business Profile

Pick the category that matches the work you actually sell. Categories you do not live up to get you the wrong jobs — or reviews that say you never showed.

Services should be the jobs you sell in this market. Not a copied list from a national franchise. Photos: real jobs, real storefront, real Louisville. Stock photos look like every other listing. Posts and Q&A keep the profile looking open. Service areas should match where you actually work — not all of Boulder County you cannot reach by noon.

Name, address, and phone have to match the website and the rest of the web.

We cover map-pack work in more detail on Google Maps optimization. The Louisville version is the same idea with your category and your photos.

Website pages that match the search

Google still wants a page that says the city and the job. One county-wide "we serve Boulder County" paragraph does not win plumber Louisville or dentist near me from someone on US-36.

On your site — not this one — you need pages for the cities you serve and the searches people type when they need you today. If you do not run a town, do not list it. Google and AI both punish the business that claims all of Boulder County and shows up from Boulder.

That is the same local SEO work we describe on Colorado Springs local SEO, written for a Louisville business instead of a Springs shop.

Names Google already knows

Use the names people type. Not a dump of every neighborhood on the Boulder County map.

  • Louisville
  • Superior and Lafayette when you actually serve those packs
  • Downtown Louisville and Historic Old Town when that is where you are
  • McCaslin Boulevard and US-36 corridors, if the work takes you there

If you do not run a town, leave it off.

Videos: YouTube, Shorts, and AI Overviews

You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos from your services and the cities you serve. They go on YouTube because those videos tend to show up in Google quickly. Backlinks to them are part of the strategy. AI Overviews now pull from YouTube. A video about "plumber Louisville" or "HVAC repair Superior" gives Google and ChatGPT real words to use when someone nearby is searching.

We handle the script, the editing, and the channel work. You show up because the video is about your job and your town — not because you filmed it yourself.

Timeline: 30 to 90 days

Google does not move overnight. A new profile or a profile that has not been worked on in years takes time to trust. Month one: we set up or claim and optimize the Google Business Profile, build or refresh the city and service pages on your site, and write the first videos. Month two to three: the profile gains traction. The map pack starts showing your name. YouTube videos appear in Google results. AI tools quote your video pages.

This is not a promise of page one. This is the timeline to see real movement.

Why Louisville businesses need this now

You are between Boulder and Superior. You are on US-36 where traffic searches happen all day. You are in Historic Old Town where people already know you exist. The map pack is where they find you. If your Google Business Profile does not say Louisville, you lose to someone who does.

We help you look like the Louisville business you are — not a Boulder satellite or a county-wide listing that Google cannot trust.

Next step

Call 719-639-8238. Tell Casey your trade and the cities you serve. We will talk about the profile, the site pages, and the videos. Month to month. No long contract.

Why does Louisville need its own Google Business Profile instead of one for all of Boulder County?

People type the city they are in or standing near. When someone on McCaslin Boulevard types "plumber Louisville," Google looks for a profile that says Louisville. If your profile only lists Boulder or a county name, Google will show a competitor who claimed Louisville. You lose that search.

Do I need pages on my website for every town in Boulder County?

No. Only the towns where you actually work and can serve by the time a customer needs you. If you run Louisville and Superior but not Lafayette, list only those two. Google penalizes businesses that claim towns they do not serve.

Will Casey film videos for my business?

No. You do not film. Casey writes the script, produces the video from your services and photos, and handles all the editing and uploads. You show up because the content is about your job and your town — not because you were behind a camera.

How long does it take to see results in the Google map pack?

Expect 30 to 60 days to see movement. Month one we set up the profile and pages. Month two to three the profile gains trust and starts showing in local searches. This is not a guarantee of page one, only the realistic timeline to see real traction.

Is Casey's SEO month to month or do I sign a long contract?

Month to month. Call 719-639-8238 and talk to Casey. No long lock-in. You can stop anytime. We focus on the work, not the contract.
