Someone in the Broadmoor area types the job plus the neighborhood — plumber, dentist, HVAC, a contractor on the southside. Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is a miss.
This page is for local businesses in the Broadmoor neighborhood and Cheyenne Mountain who want those searches. Casey's SEO is not your trade. We do not run the trucks, the chairs, or the storefront. We make sure Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and AI tools can name you when someone in this high-end area is ready to call.

How people find a business in the Broadmoor
Most of those searches end in the Google map pack — the three businesses on Google Maps at the top of local results. The Google Business Profile is the listing that feeds that pack. The website pages tell Google which jobs you actually run and which parts of the city you cover. YouTube videos about those same jobs and neighborhoods show up in Google and give AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT something true to quote.
If the profile says Colorado Springs and the site says "we serve El Paso County," you are asking Google to guess. It will guess a competitor who named Broadmoor.
Broadmoor is not generic Colorado Springs. It is not Cheyenne Mountain or the northside or downtown. People in this neighborhood type the neighborhood they are standing in. A Colorado Springs–only profile does not win that pack.
Google Business Profile
Pick the category that matches the work you actually sell. Categories you do not live up to get you the wrong jobs — or reviews that say you never showed.
Services should be the jobs you sell in this market. Not a copied list from a national franchise. Photos: real jobs, real storefront, real Broadmoor. Stock photos look like every other listing. Posts and Q&A keep the profile looking open. Service areas should match where you actually work — not half of El Paso County you cannot reach by noon.
Name, address, and phone have to match the website and the rest of the web.
We cover map-pack work in more detail on Google Maps optimization. The Broadmoor version is the same idea with your category and your photos.
Website pages that match the search
Google still wants a page that says Broadmoor and the job. One statewide "we serve Colorado" paragraph does not win plumber Broadmoor or dentist near me from someone in the Cheyenne Mountain area.
On your site — not this one — you need pages for the neighborhoods and areas you serve and the searches people type when they need you today. If you do not run the Broadmoor area, do not list it. Google and AI both punish the business that claims all of Colorado Springs and shows up from downtown.
That is the same local SEO work we describe on Colorado Springs local SEO, written for a Broadmoor business instead of a generic Springs shop.
Names Google already knows
Use the names people type. Not a dump of every subdivision on the county map.
- Broadmoor
- Cheyenne Mountain when you actually serve that area
- Southside estates when the work takes you there
- Colorado Springs only when someone outside the neighborhood searches
If you do not run an area, leave it off.
Videos: YouTube, Shorts, and AI Overviews
You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos from your services and the neighborhoods you serve. They go on YouTube because those videos tend to show up in Google quickly. Backlinks to them are part of how Google decides you know this neighborhood.
A video about a roof repair or kitchen remodel on Broadmoor property, or an HVAC job on Cheyenne Mountain, tells Google — and your next customer — that you have done this work here. Text alone does not. YouTube videos also show up in Get Found results and feed the local SEO hub.
Timeline: 30 to 90 days
The Google Business Profile update is quick. New or revised website pages and the first videos take 30 to 60 days to show consistent movement in the map pack. At 60 to 90 days, you will know if the neighborhood recognizes the name and the work. Page one is possible. It is not a promise.
If you have been in the Broadmoor area for years, you have a head start. If you are new, you are starting from zero. Either way, consistency on Google, your site, and YouTube is what moves the needle.
The local SEO hub
We have written a full local SEO guide for Colorado that covers ranking strategies beyond the map pack, how AI pulls information from your site, and the six items every local business needs. The Broadmoor business is a Colorado Springs business, and the same rules apply.
Do I need to be on Google Maps to get found in the Broadmoor?
Yes. The map pack is where most local searches end. Your Google Business Profile feeds that pack. Without it, you are competing only on the organic results below the map, and you are starting from behind.
Should I use "Colorado Springs" or "Broadmoor" on my website?
Use both, but with purpose. Create a page for the Broadmoor neighborhood and Cheyenne Mountain area since that is where people type your name. Mention Colorado Springs when it makes sense for broader reach, but do not let it drown out the specific names people in this neighborhood use when they search.
How often should I post on my Google Business Profile?
Posts and Q&A keep the profile fresh and show Google you are active. We recommend at least two posts a month tied to the work you do and the neighborhoods you serve. A post about a Broadmoor property or Cheyenne Mountain area project works better than generic content.
Do I have to make videos myself?
No. You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos based on your services and the Broadmoor area jobs you complete. You provide the details and photos; we handle production and YouTube placement.
How long does it take to rank in the Broadmoor map pack?
The Google Business Profile can move within 30 days. Website pages and YouTube videos typically take 60 to 90 days to show consistent results in the map pack. Page one is possible but not guaranteed. Consistency and accuracy across your profile, site, and videos is what drives the results.
