Someone in Littleton types the job plus the city — plumber, dentist, HVAC, a shop on Santa Fe Drive. Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is a miss.

This page is for local businesses in Littleton and the south metro who want those searches. Casey's SEO is not your trade. We do not run the trucks, the chairs, or the storefront. We make sure Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and AI tools can name you when someone nearby is ready to call.

How people find a business in Littleton

Most of those searches end in the Google map pack — the three businesses on Google Maps at the top of local results. The Google Business Profile is the listing that feeds that pack. The website pages tell Google which jobs you actually run and which parts of town you cover. YouTube videos about those same jobs and cities show up in Google and give AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT something true to quote.

If the profile says one city and the site says "we serve the Denver metro," you are asking Google to guess. It will guess a competitor who named Littleton.

Littleton is not Denver. It is not Englewood. It is not Highlands Ranch. People type the city they are standing in. A Denver-only profile does not win that pack.

Google Business Profile

Pick the category that matches the work you actually sell. Categories you do not live up to get you the wrong jobs — or reviews that say you never showed.

Services should be the jobs you sell in this market. Not a copied list from a national franchise. Photos: real jobs, real storefront, real Littleton. Stock photos look like every other listing. Posts and Q&A keep the profile looking open. Service areas should match where you actually work — not half the south metro you cannot reach by noon.

Name, address, and phone have to match the website and the rest of the web.

We cover map-pack work in more detail on Google Maps optimization. The Littleton version is the same idea with your category and your photos.

Website pages that match the search

Google still wants a page that says the city and the job. One statewide "we serve Colorado" paragraph does not win plumber Littleton or dentist near me from someone on South Platte.

On your site — not this one — you need pages for the cities you serve and the searches people type when they need you today. If you do not run a town, do not list it. Google and AI both punish the business that claims half of Colorado and shows up from Denver.

That is the same local SEO work we describe on Colorado Springs local SEO, written for a Littleton business instead of a Springs shop.

Names Google already knows

Use the names people type. Not a dump of every subdivision on the county map.

  • Littleton
  • Englewood and Highlands Ranch when you actually serve those packs
  • Lakewood when the trucks go there
  • Downtown Littleton and Santa Fe Drive when those are real service areas

If you do not run a town, leave it off.

Videos: YouTube, Shorts, and AI Overviews

You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos from your services and the cities you serve. They go on YouTube because those videos tend to show up in Google quickly. Backlinks to them are part of the work.

A video called "Plumber in Littleton" or "What to expect from a dentist on Santa Fe Drive" tells Google and AI what you do and where. Those same videos show up in Get Found results and give potential customers a reason to click before they call.

YouTube is not a sales platform here. It is a search platform. Google owns it. Google trusts it. We produce the videos to make sure your business shows up in local results.

Timeline: 30 to 90 days

Map-pack rank takes time. Google Business Profile changes can show results in 30 to 60 days. Website pages and YouTube videos build momentum over 60 to 90 days. We do not promise page one. We make sure the work is real, the profile is right, and the videos are true.

You will see ranking reports. You will see traffic. You will know what is working.

Month to month. No contract. Call 719-639-8238 and talk to Casey. We will look at your profile, your site, and the searches you are missing. Then we will tell you what we can do.

Why does my Littleton business not show up when someone types the job plus the city?

Google shows three businesses in the map pack for local searches. If your Google Business Profile does not list Littleton or your website does not have a page for the city, Google does not know you serve it. The profile and the site have to match what people search for.

Do I have to film videos for YouTube?

No. You do not film. Casey writes and produces the videos from your services and the cities you serve. The videos are short, real, and built to show up in Google and AI tools.

How long before I see results?

Map-pack rank takes time. Changes to your Google Business Profile can show results in 30 to 60 days. Website pages and videos build over 60 to 90 days. We do not promise page one, but we measure what works and keep the work real.

Should I list Englewood, Highlands Ranch, and Lakewood on my profile?

Only if you actually serve those areas. Google and AI penalize businesses that claim cities they do not reach. If your trucks or team cannot get to a town by noon, do not list it. Name the towns where you really work.

Is local SEO the same as Google Ads?

No. Local SEO is the work we do on your profile, website, and videos so Google shows you in map-pack and organic results. Ads cost per click and stop when you stop paying. SEO takes time but builds long-term visibility. We do local SEO, not ads.
