Someone in Aurora types the job plus the city — plumber, dentist, HVAC, a shop near Southlands or Buckley. Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is a miss.

This page is for local businesses in Aurora who want those searches. Casey's SEO is not your trade. We do not run the trucks, the chairs, or the storefront. We make sure Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and AI tools can name you when someone nearby is ready to call.

How people find a business in Aurora

Most of those searches end in the Google map pack — the three businesses on Google Maps at the top of local results. The Google Business Profile is the listing that feeds that pack. The website pages tell Google which jobs you actually run and which parts of Aurora you cover. YouTube videos about those same jobs and cities show up in Google and give AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT something true to quote.

If the profile says one city and the site says "we serve the Denver metro," you are asking Google to guess. It will guess a competitor who named Aurora.

Aurora is not Denver. It is not Centennial. It is not Parker. People type the city they are standing in. A Denver-only profile does not win that pack. Aurora has its own Google Business Profile pack. Arapahoe County and Adams County both claim parts of Aurora. That matters for your address and service area.

Google Business Profile

Pick the category that matches the work you actually sell. Categories you do not live up to get you the wrong jobs — or reviews that say you never showed.

Services should be the jobs you sell in this market. Not a copied list from a national franchise. Photos: real jobs, real storefront, real Aurora. Stock photos look like every other listing. Posts and Q&A keep the profile looking open. Service areas should match where you actually work — not half the Front Range you cannot reach by noon.

Name, address, and phone have to match the website and the rest of the web.

We cover map-pack work in more detail on Google Maps optimization. The Aurora version is the same idea with your category and your photos.

Website pages that match the search

Google still wants a page that says the city and the job. One statewide "we serve Colorado" paragraph does not win plumber Aurora or dentist near me from someone on I-225.

On your site — not this one — you need pages for the cities you serve and the searches people type when they need you today. If you do not run a town, do not list it. Google and AI both punish the business that claims half of Colorado and shows up from Denver.

That is the same local SEO work we describe on local SEO in Colorado, written for an Aurora business instead of a statewide shop.

Names Google already knows

Use the names people type. Not a dump of every subdivision on the county map.

  • Aurora
  • Southlands, when you work that area
  • Anschutz, when you serve the medical center
  • Centennial and Parker when you actually serve those packs
  • I-225 and the Front Range, if the trucks go there

If you do not run a town, leave it off.

Videos: YouTube, Shorts, and AI Overviews

You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos from your services and the cities you serve. They go on YouTube because those videos tend to show up in Google quickly. Backlinks to them are part of how we get found.

Videos answer the jobs people search: "How to find a plumber in Aurora," "What to expect from a dentist visit," "HVAC tune-up near Southlands." AI Overviews pull from videos faster than they pull from blog posts. A video in your YouTube channel, linked from your site, tells ChatGPT and Google that you are real and local.

Three to five videos in the first 60 days is common. Month to month. No contract.

Timeline: 30 to 90 days

Google Business Profile changes can show results in 30 to 60 days. Website pages and videos take 60 to 90 days to move the needle on search rank. That is if the work is done right and the profile is honest.

We do not promise page one. Page one is possible. We build the profile, the pages, and the videos so Google can name you. The rank depends on how many other Aurora businesses in your trade are doing the same work — and how long they have been doing it.

What we do and what we don't

Casey's SEO is local SEO. We write and produce YouTube videos. We optimize your Google Business Profile and the pages on your site. We do not run your trucks, answer your phone, or take your jobs. We make sure Google knows you exist and serves the right people to your door.

We do not film you or run ads. Month to month. Contact Casey or call 719-639-8238.

Do you guarantee first page on Google?

No. Page one is possible, not a promise. We build the Google Business Profile, the website pages, and the YouTube videos so Google can rank you fairly. The actual rank depends on how many other Aurora businesses in your trade are doing the same work and how long they have been at it. We optimize for the search. We do not control the result.

Why is Aurora's Google Business Profile different from Denver's?

Aurora is its own city with its own Google Business Profile map pack. Denver is a different pack. If you list your business as serving the whole Denver metro, Google will rank it against Denver competitors, not Aurora competitors. A person standing in Aurora, typing "plumber Aurora," will see the three local businesses in that pack. If your profile says you serve Denver, you lose.

What cities should I list on my website?

Only the cities where you actually work and can reach by noon. If you serve Aurora, Centennial, and Parker, put those three on your site. Do not list towns you do not serve. Google and AI tools both punish the business that claims half the Front Range but shows up from Denver. Be honest about your service area.

Do I have to film videos for YouTube?

No. Casey writes and produces the videos. You do not film. We create videos about your services and the Aurora neighborhoods and areas you serve. They go on YouTube and link back to your site. You focus on your trade. We handle the video.
