Someone in Arvada types the job plus the city — plumber, dentist, HVAC, a shop on Ralston Road. Google shows three businesses in the map pack. Everyone else is a miss.

This page is for local businesses in Arvada and the northwest metro who want those searches. Casey's SEO is not your trade. We do not run the trucks, the chairs, or the storefront. We make sure Google, Google Maps, YouTube, and AI tools can name you when someone nearby is ready to call.

How people find a business in Arvada

Most of those searches end in the Google map pack — the three businesses on Google Maps at the top of local results. The Google Business Profile is the listing that feeds that pack. The website pages tell Google which jobs you actually run and which parts of town you cover. YouTube videos about those same jobs and cities show up in Google and give AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT something true to quote.

If the profile says one city and the site says "we serve the Denver metro," you are asking Google to guess. It will guess a competitor who named Arvada.

Arvada is not Denver. It is not Westminster. It is not Wheat Ridge or Golden. People type the city they are standing in. A Denver-only profile does not win that pack.

Google Business Profile

Pick the category that matches the work you actually sell. Categories you do not live up to get you the wrong jobs — or reviews that say you never showed.

Services should be the jobs you sell in this market. Not a copied list from a national franchise. Photos: real jobs, real storefront, real Arvada. Stock photos look like every other listing. Posts and Q&A keep the profile looking open. Service areas should match where you actually work — not half the Front Range you cannot reach by noon.

Name, address, and phone have to match the website and the rest of the web.

We cover map-pack work in more detail on Google Maps optimization. The Arvada version is the same idea with your category and your photos.

Website pages that match the search

Google still wants a page that says the city and the job. One statewide "we serve Colorado" paragraph does not win plumber Arvada or dentist near me from someone on I-70.

On your site — not this one — you need pages for the cities you serve and the searches people type when they need you today. If you do not run a town, do not list it. Google and AI both punish the business that claims half of Colorado and shows up from Denver.

That is the same local SEO work we describe on Colorado Springs local SEO, written for an Arvada business instead of a Springs shop.

Names Google already knows

Use the names people type. Not a dump of every subdivision on the county map.

  • Arvada
  • Olde Town Arvada when you serve that area
  • Westminster and Wheat Ridge when you actually serve those packs
  • Golden if the work takes you there
  • The I-70 west metro, if the trucks go there

If you do not run a town, leave it off.

Videos: YouTube, Shorts, and AI Overviews

You do not film. Casey writes and produces videos from your services and the cities you serve. They go on YouTube because those videos tend to show up in Google quickly. Backlinks to them are part of the local SEO package.

The videos name Arvada, the jobs you sell, and the parts of Jefferson and Adams County where you actually show up. Google uses YouTube to understand what a business does. AI tools quote those videos when someone asks "plumber near me" or "HVAC in Arvada."

Facebook and Instagram are optional. YouTube is required.

How long does this take?

Map pack movement can start in 30 to 60 days. Some businesses see it faster. Some take longer. It depends on how much work the profile and site need, and how many competitors are in the pack ahead of you.

Real local SEO is month to month. We do not lock you in. If it is not working, call us and we talk about it. If it is, we keep going.

Get Found is the page where we walk through the whole process and the timeline.

Your local SEO hub

This is one of the pages that explains how local SEO works. Colorado local SEO is the main hub. It covers all the things a business in any Colorado city needs to know.

The work does not change. The city does. In Arvada, it looks the same as it does in Westminster or Wheat Ridge — but the name and the city have to be right.

FAQs

Do I need to be in Olde Town Arvada to rank in the map pack?

No. Your address is your address. If you are on Ralston Road or anywhere else in Arvada, the Google Business Profile uses that address to put you in the pack. Olde Town is just one part of the city. What matters is that your profile, website, and videos all say Arvada — not Denver or "the Denver metro."

Can I rank for Westminster and Golden too?

Yes, if you actually serve those cities. But do not fake it. If your trucks cannot get to Golden by mid-morning and stay all day, do not list it. Google and AI both check. A customer who sees "Golden" on your profile and then you are not there leaves a bad review. That kills the map pack.

What if I use a shared office or do not have a storefront?

Many service businesses do not work from a storefront. The Google Business Profile still uses a real address — yours. If you are home-based, you can use a service area address or you can use your home address and limit service areas in the profile. Talk to Casey about what works best for your business.

Do I have to make the videos myself?

No. You do not film at all. Casey writes and produces the videos from photos and information you provide. We name Arvada, your jobs, and the areas you actually serve. They go on YouTube and help Google understand what you do.

How much does this cost per month?

Call 719-639-8238 and talk to Casey. We work month to month. No contract. Price depends on the scope of the work and how many cities and services need pages and videos.
