What industries need SEO the most? That is a good question. Now welcome to Casey’s SEO and today I’m going to share my experience of which industries the most need SEO. Well, like you just heard, that is every single business. If you have a website online, you need to be performing at least the bare minimum of SEO, which would be adding keywords in the title tags, the meta descriptions and throughout your website.

Without the bare minimum, your website will not be found. And yes, I understand that you may live in an area where there is no competitors and in this case your website might be found, but you could still expand that reach by performing a little bit of SEO. Now you don’t need to hire somebody to do the very basics. All you have to do is put in a little bit of time and learn what a title tag is, what a meta description is, which keywords people are actually searching for and where to put them on your website. If you are brand new, make sure to watch some of my other videos and they will walk you through how to set everything up.

Now if you live in an area that is very, very competitive, you will definitely need to be forming the bare minimum of SEO plus a heck of a lot more. You may need to be creating blogs weekly or monthly that end up getting lots of search volume. You want to reach out and get a lot of local backlinks and then just backlinks in general from high authority sites in your niche and you’re going to just want to spend pretty much every day just nitpicking and putting in the work. Once you do this, in years down the road you will hopefully be a little bit more competitive in your niche, but it does take lots of time. And remember, always learn new little ways that you can be more competitive with your SEO, especially if you aren’t in a competitive niche.
