Welcome to Casey’s SEO and I’m going to go over a few different examples of how you can use keywords to set up your WordPress site. If you are brand new to WordPress and SEO, I highly recommend you guys first download the Yoast plugin.
Yoast will give you guys the additional boxes so you can add in your title tag and your meta description all within the page. It makes it really simple and easy to use and they will also provide a couple additional tips to help with your SEO. Before you can start adding content to your site, you need to find out what keywords are actually getting traffic so you can use those keywords on your pages and throughout your site to find keywords in their search volume. I typically use SEM Rush, but you can use any type of software that’s out there either paid or a free version. You can find keywords and the search volume associated with those keywords with using multiple different pieces of software.
So don’t worry if you can’t afford some premium software at the moment. Once you have chosen a couple different keywords, you will want to structure your site around those keywords. For these keywords, I recommend like a medium tail keyword, something that gets a good search volume and is not too difficult to rank for. Then find some long tail keywords that you can use for content in different parts of your website. In order to generate some traffic to your website, try to find keywords that have a lower search volume but are easy to rank for, so you can start generating traffic to your blog pages or some different content on your site.
And then over the long term, you can start ranking for more of those medium tail keywords which should generate more traffic to your site. You will want to use one main keyword for each page and then use that keyword throughout the page. So use that keyword in the URL in your title tag, your meta description, your image alt tags anywhere on that page that makes sense, but don’t go overboard with keyword stuffing. You can also find different variations of that keyword and use those which will help distribute the amount of times you’ve used that keyword, which will help with your traffic. I highly recommend looking at competitor websites so you can see what keywords they’re using and how they have their content structured.
You can also use different pieces of software to see how your content compares with a competitor’s for a certain keyword SEO Power Suite does have a content editor within their website editor software that you can use that will compare your content with a competitor’s. But you can also use surfer SEO. Surfer SEO has a great piece of software where you can compare your website or web page with a competitor’s. Then they will give you suggestions of how you can improve your page in order to rank higher. If you guys have any more questions or comments, please let me know.

There are many ways to add Meta Keywords and Attributes to your WordPress blog. Most search engines use a standard algorithm to determine relevance. You can add Meta Keywords and Attributes without installing any plugin. If you don’t want to install a plugin, you can create a function called Your name and add meta keywords and attributes manually.
Meta description is a short text that describes the content and purpose of a page. It appears on SERPs and helps users determine what they are looking for without having to open the page. WordPress offers a feature that allows you to customize your meta description for SEO keywords. While it’s easy to leave the meta description generation up to Google, it’s important to customize it for your site, or you will miss out on traffic opportunities.
To add a meta description, navigate to the Settings page and click the Add Meta Description button. You can then enter your meta keywords. Once you have added a meta description, click Save Changes. Then, you can add your meta keywords to your posts and pages. Once you’ve set this up, you can use the plugin to automatically add your keywords and meta description to your posts.
When writing a meta description for SEO keywords, keep it brief and precise. Try to keep it between 155 and 165 characters. Longer descriptions are cut off by search engines and may result in increased bounce rates.
