If you are looking to become an SEO content writer, make sure to follow these steps now. Welcome to Casey’s SEO. So first, you need to be passionate about your subject or writing in general. If you can sit down and write out a 2000 word article very quickly without even thinking about it, then SEO content writing might be for you. But if you have to sit there and spend a week to think up of different subjects or different ways to create an article, then going into an SEO content writer might not be for you, but it is still something as SEO specialists have to do.

And that’s all right if you can’t just sit down and create an article right away. But the second thing you need to be able to do is SEO. So if you do not know the basic concepts of SEO, you’re going to have trouble becoming a content writer for SEO. So first off, you need to know the basic structure. So we have RH one, S two, S, RH threes, and so on.

Then you need to know how to do keyword research and figure out what keywords people are actually looking for, which you should base your content on. Then you’re going to have to create some content that people actually want to read. So you may be a very good writer, but if people aren’t actually looking for that content and wanting to read that content, it’s going to be a little bit more difficult. Now, you might be able to get people to your page from your SEO and your good content writing, but you may not be able to get them to actually make an actionable step on that page. So to me, those are really two key components to becoming an SEO content writer.

First, be passionate about your writing or understand that you need to create content for SEO, which will give you a little bit of a drive to create that content, because that is really your job. And by creating content and following all the SEO kind of guidelines and steps, it makes it a little bit more interesting to create content to see if people will actually go to your website and take the actions that you want.
